Description
This macro photograph of a two Gazania blossoms was taken while visiting a Green Bay Botanical Gardens in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I liked the bight color of this these Gazania and I was try to capture as much detail in the flowers as possible, giving the viewer a look at what they might be missing as far as the many patterns created in nature. I hope you have enjoyed this photograph and will share it with someone you know. You can see more of my work for sale on my homepage. Thank you for visiting and please come back.
Gazania is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, native to Southern Africa. They produce large, daisy-like composite flowers in brilliant shades of yellow and orange, over a long period in summer. They are often planted as drought-tolerant groundcover.
