It's amazing how an image can throw us back into memories. We had lilacs growing outside my bedroom window as a child. I will always love them. Your image is the same color as what i know, a color I have also loved all my life. You've captured these beautiful flowers in a most magnificent way. Definitely a fav and a vote.
