Yes, inch by inch, that is how painstakingly slow the caterpillar must go, but when it gets its wings--Man, oh, man! There is no holding it back! did you identify what which one it is? With the antenna that showing I'm just not sure… I don't think it's the monarch and I know it's not a black swallowtail, curious thanks for sharing

Jeff, I checked the internet and found one that looked like this one minus the antenna. I guess I am not sure what it is. I thought it was a monarch. Thank you for asking, May someone else might know.
