Description
Life on the farm is not an easy job. There are many day to day chores that farmers face in a typical day. Today happened to be harvesting hay, then baling the hay, and then transporting the hay back to the farm where it will be used at a latter date to feed the livestock on the farm. Next time you see a farmer of meet one, thank them for all they do.
I hope you have enjoyed this work and will share it with others. You can see more of my work in the various galleries on my homepage. Thank you for visiting and please come back.

Hi Bruce, love those hay bales! Such an iconic scene in farm country. I remember when hay bales were small and loaded into the upper loft of the barn. Best regards, Sharon
Bruce Bley replied:
Sharon, I am glad you enjoyed this wok and that it brought back memories. I remember working on the farm and I always seem to be the one in the loft on those hot summer days.

These rolls of hay always fascinate me! They are little random sculptures scattered through a scene! Wonderful work by you and the farmer!!... :).....vf
Bruce Bley replied:
Thank you for the kind and gracious compliment, Karen. I will be sure to tell the farmer.
