Artist's Description
This photograph was taken while visiting a restraunt in Door County, Wisconsin this past summer. This was a Swedish restraunt where the roof was covered with grass. The owner has goats ontop of the restraunt to eat the grass. It was very unique. I hope you have enjoyed this photograph. About Bruce Bley
Hello my name is Bruce Bley. I am a retired art instructor. I taught in a public high school for 35 years. I enjoyed teaching students and helping them develop their own style of work. Now during my retirement I am pursuing my own passion for creating artwork. I enjoy working from nature. As an artist I want to capture the beauty of what nature has to offer. Too often in our society people don't take the time to stop and see what nature has to offer. It can be as simple as the color of a flower, the veins of a petal, and the beauty of it's stamen and pistils. I have created works of fish, flowers, animals, and nature in general to give a person the opportunity to see nature close-up. I am an avid photographer and many of my...

Bruce, Goats are so funny! I had a pigmy goat once, and he ended up on the roof of any building or structure I had! The funniest was he liked sitting on top of the sheep next door! They formed a bond, and the farmer next door asked if he could have him or buy him. So next door he went, to be with his sheep friend! Why I told you that story, I'll never know... except, I havent' thought of that story since the 70's... FV... thanks for your group Comfortable Art too... I see so many great images in that group! FV
