Description
Daylilies take their name from the Greek word "hemerocallis", meaning "beautiful for a day", but you will enjoy these blooms all summer long! Meet your new favorite flower.
The Stella D'Oro is typically the first Daylily to bloom during the spring... and the last... making it the longest blooming daylily you can find.
One of the best and most prolific bloomers in the daylily family, the Stella D'Oro Daylily is also highly tolerant and easy to grow. You cannot beat the performance and adaptability of this plant!
It's also becoming popular as a potted plant. Just put it in a container and put them around your patio or entryways for a colorful effect.
This will be not only one of the most rewarding plants in your garden, but will also provide one of the most vibrant colors!
The hardy Stella D' Oro produces a profusion of buttery yellow blooms in early summer, and then flowers repeatedly throughout the season. The golden blooms are circular and reach two and a half inches wide.
The foliage delivers as well, with clumps of arching, bright green leaves that provide an attractive background to this elegant garden addition.
The Stella D'Oro Daylily provides almost constant color in the perennial garden and is a great border plant.
You cannot go wrong with this daylily- the sheer number of blooms on a single plant will amaze you. The Stella D'Oro Daylily is tried and true, and will provide a distinctive and abundant anchor to any garden for years to come.
