Artist's Description
This photograph of a miniature pink and yellow dahlia was taken while visiting a local greenhouse.
Dahlias are a genus of bushy, tuberous, herbaceous perennial plants native mainly in Mexico, but also Central America, and Colombia. A member of the Asteraceae or Compositae, dicotyledonous plants, related species include the sunflower, daisy, chrysanthemum and zinnia. About Bruce Bley
Hello my name is Bruce Bley. I am a retired art instructor. I taught in a public high school for 35 years. I enjoyed teaching students and helping them develop their own style of work. I have created works of fish, flowers, animals, and nature in general to give a person the opportunity to see nature close-up. I am an avid photographer and many of my...
